help with error 0x0000005

I completed a system restore from the earliest date. Now I get an error when trying to open ANY program/application. The error is 'the application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000005). click OK to close the application'

I no longer have a restore point to restore the pc to.

I do NOT have the system update KB2859537 installed on my computer.

I have Windows 7 64 bit operating system.

Any other ideas that I can try?

Backup your data and reinstall. You'll spend more time trying to fix it (and still not get it all) than a simple reinstall, or factory restore.
