So I'm 16, a sophomore in high school, and I've decided I either want to be a computer engineer, or a technician, or a programmer. As I understand, computer engineers design computer systems and components and such. Technicians basically build or repair the systems, and programmers do all the code (I'm pretty sure there is also a decent amount of overlap in these 3). I enjoy building computers, and I kind of like to code (I don't know much, but I am taking a intro to programming at my school, we learn Java), and I feel like designing computer systems would be neat.
Anyways, for my career assignment, we had to pick a college and career. I chose MIT and a Computer Engineer. I'm supposed to find a load of stuff:
Job title, responsibilities, duties, work activities, environment, Is it a general field, or very specialized, and do I need certification. Salary, and requirements.
Also, using my selected major, list all classes from Freshman through Senior year.- I believe this is Course 6-3 at MIT, but I cannot find all of the required courses to get a BS in Computer Engineering/Science, which ever it is
And also find out the yearly tuition and room and board (I believe it supposed to be for the next year, 15-16) which I don't think they have released yet
