Hey there, I'm new to overclocking (first build, had it about 2 months now), and I'm looking for some tips on how to go about overclocking the FSB safely.

My build:
Case-Raidmax Smilodon (I have modified it with a steel drill to add extra intake fans, replaced ALL the stock fans with better ones)
Fans-80mm=7 120mm=3 140mm=1
CPU=AMD FX-6300, overclocked to 4.0GhZ
GPU=AMD Radeon 7850
Motherboard=Gigabyte 990fx-UD3
Heatsink=CM hyper 212+

I've also added 2 PCI cooling cards, each with 2 90mm fans blowing towards the GPU.
I've upped the CPU frequency from 3.5ghz to 4.0ghz surprisingly without turning up the voltage or even turning off cool n quiet etc. Basically now I am interested in fucking with the bus, I honestly have no exact use for more power, it's more of an educational thing, but at the same time more power never hurts. I know to bench my PC everytime I OC, I just don't really know how exactly to go about overclocking the FSB and the NB.

Oh I also should add that it IS stable at 4GhZ without a change in voltage, I ran prime95 for about 2 hours (I hate running it for 12 hours at a time etc, makes me nervous.)
