Question Help with full screen gaming!

I got my laptop and plugged a mon itor on it so i have 2 screens, i but my monitor as my main screen. When I'm playing a game on my main screen and I alt tab out to got on my other screen as soon as i let go alt tab my game tabs out. Anyone can help me so it stays up and browse on my other screen? Im using a Macbook pro 2012. Thank you

Most have a focus system; if the game is full screen it generally takes over the graphics hardware and therefore it's not really possible to switch between the two without that happening.

I'm not sure what the Mac equivalent would be, but for some games in Windows you can select something along the lines of "Borderless" or "Windowed" and these will let you switch out without the same level of disruption.
