[SOLVED] Help with gaming on laptop

I have msi laptop gt63 titan 8rg I bought it last year and started playing destiny 2 the game was perfect but now whenever I play destiny 2 I get 70 fps at max and than starts dropping frames and overheats. I honestly don't know what happened can someone tell what's wrong with it please.

here are the laptop specs :
Video card : GeForce GTX 1080
CPU : Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8750H CPU @ 2.20GHz
RAM : 32GB

When you say it overheats, did you actually check the temps? If it gets hotter than it used to or goes to mid 90s then you would need to take it apart, make sure vents and clean and try new thermal paste on the heatsinks.
