Question help with gpu and ystem, problems

4gb ram
amd hd 7470 1gb gpu
250w psu

i recently bought an amd r5 340x 2gb gpu and when i put it into my motherboard all my games ran slower and some games didnt even load or open.
what could be the problem and also what can i do to my setup to upgrade it?

some websites hae said that a 4BG card would run better but i find that hard to belive?

why is it that my 1gb card can do csgo at 90-120 fps but the 2gb card does like 20-50 fps

also my monitor is an AOC G2460 and its stuck at 60htz with both the 1gb card and the 2gb card

Did you uninstall your drivers, using DDU, then reinstalling the latest available driver?

Because the 1GB is GDDR5 and the 2GB is DDR3.

i went on programmes and unintsall, then unintsllaed amd catalyst and then installed amd adrenaline

what would be the best gpu for me to have with my cpu, im going to buy 2x8gb ram sticks and i will eventually get a new psu too, but id like to know what would be the best one for me to run with my i3 2100

Not any 400w PSU. You need a decent PSU.

So if I keep my i3 2100 on my motherboard and get a new psu with a 4gb gpu that should be okay? Aswel as upgrading my ram, I don't want ultra settings on new games, I just want a casual 30fps low setting on games from like 2017

Tecpowerup.com says that a 1050 ti low profile needs 75w and a 250w psu, which I have, would would be okay in my system with the i3 2100 and 8gb of ram?

Never mind, cpuboss says that an i3 2100 with a gtx 1050 is a 74% bottleneck, I think I'll just scrap my build and buy a pre built

Cpuboss, and other bottleneck calculators are pure trash. Do not trust them.

Ram is kinda cheap, get a 16gb kit.
