[SOLVED] Help with Hitachi TV , USB no longer working.

Im trying to plug a memory stick into my t.v but it says no removable drive connected, but when i disconnect the usb it clearly states that the usb has been disconnected?

Its never been an issue before now, i did recently use one of the sticks to backup my PS4 but have since reformatted it. Ive tried NTFS,ExFat and FAT32 formats and each time i plug it in its shows no usb connected but as mentioned above when i remove it ,it pops up.

Really not sure what else to do as ive tried everything i can think of. The firmware and software is up to date and ive tried resetting the tv and switching it on and off for a period.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Does any other USB device work with that port? Maybe a keyboard or mouse? The port being bad, the USB flash drive being bad or the formatting being not correct for the TV that is the only reason you would see the error, need to check which of those is the case with some testing.
