Help with laptop GPU upgrade, please.

I wanted to upgrade the GPU on my Acer Apsire laptop and i'm completely new to the laptop thing, it does appear to be quite harder then a desktop.
I have two GPU's: integrated Intel that i won't touch, and a dedicated NVIDIA GeForce 610M with PCI-express 1.1 x16 bus that i wanted to switch for something better.
My questions are:
1. since i have a "dedicated" graphics card, it does mean that i can replace it for another, correct? Or is there anything else i need to check to see if it's removable and such?
2. I've heard that i need to know the wattage supply of..something, on my laptop, to see if the GPU that i want to place there is gonna get enough power. I have no clue as to how to do that, so how would i go about finding that out?
3.since i have a PCI-express 1.1 x16 bus, i've heard that i can replace it with any GPU that has a PCI-express bus, is that correct?

You're not going to be replacing the GPU anytime soon on your laptop. There's no guarantee the new one would work nor is there a guarantee your system (cooling, power) would even be able to handle it.

You can't. PERIOD.

Laptops are NOT upgradable like desktops. Most components (Cpu, GPU, etc.) are actually SOLDERED to the mobo. They also require VENDOR, BRAND, and sometimes MODEL SPECIFIC mounted 'cards', connectors, and power. So you can't just go and 'buy' another card and 'slap it in'. Your only choice is buy a NEW laptop.

And the answers are 1) NO 2) You can't because it is model/vendor specific, if you mess with the 'brick' coming in you potentially can cause a electrical fire especially if you have no clue (aka "wattage supply of ...something"), 3) NO.
