Help With Long-Term Intermittent Connection

I've been having an issue with my internet for some time. I can't even remember how long now, honestly. The 4+ years I've been living here? The last 2 or 3 more so? Anyways...

TL;DR three paragraphs down

My internet will lose connection seemingly at random. It does seem to happen a bit more during the Summers, but it can happen around midnight when it's only 65 outside (like it has the last two nights) and has also had issues around Christmas time both when it's cold and when it's a decent day. Sometimes it seems like a few days in a row that the times it happens are somewhat consistent, then all of a sudden the times, durations, etc are completely random again.

The issue itself typically only last 5-10 minutes and seems to be fixed slightly more quickly if I reset the modem, but it really probably isn't any faster. If I reset immediately it will normally still be out for a couple minutes after rebooting. Comcast tells me that nothing is wrong on their end (lol what?) and that they could send out a tech and most likely charge me for it because according to their operators it "must" be an inside issue since they don't see anything from their end. I just purchased a new modem yesterday hoping that would solve the issue and was not happy when I had the disconnects again last night. The typical occurrence will be a 15-30 minutes period where the internet will disconnect for 5 minutes, reconnect for anywhere from 1 minute to 10 minutes, and continue that cycle 4 or 5 times before being fine again for an undetermined amount of time.

TL;DR issues for multiple years occurs at completely random times. Can be fine for a month, can go out 10 times in one day. 15-30 minute period where the internet will disconnect for 5 minutes, reconnect for anywhere from 1 minute to 10 minutes, and continue that cycle 4 or 5 times. New modem yesterday, no help. Comcast phone support says they see no issues.Typically says can't connect to DNS.

I would carefully check the cabling in the house. Make sure all the connections are clean and tight. Disconnect any splitter or extra cable you do not use. If you own the modem you have to determine if you want to incur the expense of replacing it just in case it is the problem.

When you are fairly sure it is not really your problem it tends to be worth the risk to get the cable guy to come out. If it is there problem you pay nothing and if it really does turn out to be your problem maybe it is still worth it just to have a stable connection. Most times the charge is under $100 and you can't get any other type of trade to come out for less than that.
