Help with looking up my computer

I am having problems with my computer where I turn it on and after the screen where it shows the bios keys to click it goes to a black screen. When I move my mouse and it shows it as as a loading cursor nothing else.

It would help to know the specifics of your system build, but in general your computer is hanging right after the POST stage, wherein it loads and runs the BIOS. Does it freeze so you can't do anything? Or are you able to interact with it at all? I would recommend going in to your BIOS and loading the default settings, and see how that works.

My computer is has an Z370 AORUS Gaming 5 motherboard, intel i7 8700k, evga gtx 1080Ti, g.skill ram, Samsung 850 EVO 500 GB (where my OS is on), Western Digital 2 TB Black. I turn on my computer and the aorus logo pops up with the keys to press for bio etc. after i let that load it goes to a black screen. once i move my mouse it shows the mouse loading cursor(its blue) ive sat it for about 20minutes with nothing. i am able to interact in the bios where i did reset to default by pressing f7 and that didnt manage to do anything.

Update: windows finally gave me some options to reset my windows. So out of desperation I have chooen to reset keeping personal files.
