Help with Mother Board

If i buy this Mother Board ( MSI MS-7845 ) Would i be able to put the Intel Core i7 i7-4790K CPU in there with the AMD Radeon R9 270X ?

The motherboard i have atm is the MSI H61M-P31 (G3) (MS-7788)

No, they have different sockets. The motherboard is LGA1155 and the CPU is LGA1150.

The MSI Z87 GD65 mobo is a socket 1150, just like the I7 4790K. MSI Z87 GD65

The two are definitely compatible.

Just make sure that the motherboard is set up to take Haswell Refresh processors already, or has a boot tool to update the BIOS without a processor in.

I'm sorry, but I gave you some bad advice, above. The I7 4790K is NOT on the CPU COMPATIBILITY LIST for the MSI mobo that you have specified. An I7 4770K will work, however.

Do you have the MSI Z87 GD65 mobo right now or are you just considering what goes together and what to purchase? Likewise, do you already have the Intel I7 4790K yet?

If you already have the I7 4790K proc then THIS MOBO (MSI Z97 GD65) would be a good choice. HERE is the CPU Compatibility list for this mobo. I7 4790K is down near the bottom.

Thanks for the reply, and no i dont have it at the moment, im just looking up different things that will make my computer run faster as i have an i5 3350P at the moment, and want to upgrade to an i7
