Help with Motherboard and PC Case Compatibility

My first build I need help with knowing whether or not the two will work together. Specifically i'm wondering about the USB Ports. The case has slots on the front for USB 2.0 but the MOBO has USB 2.0 and 3.0. So will I still be able to use the 3.0 USB on the back, or will it not work. Thanks for reading!!

The usb plugs on the lower edge of the mobo is for the case front usb sockets. The usb sockets on the rear of the mobo are wired on the mobo.

Yes. Your rear USB 3.0 ports will work even if you use the front panel USB 2.0 header connections on the motherboard for the case USB connections.
