Help with my fps.

Im having a problem, last night I played some DC Universe online, and my fps then was very decent, and very fluid, and I even had alot of stuff in the background; I was watching a livestream, youtube, and facebook. This morning I got on, I have nothing running in the background, but my fps is a bit choppy, and Im really surprised. Is there a cause of this problem?

Online game could be network traffic that day. Is it continuing to be slow? If not, don't worry about it.
