My problem is the fact that i installed the gigabyte gtx 465, (to my monitor which supports only vga , ''dvi to vga addopter used'') , installed drivers for my card and while rebooting to desktop i get a blue screen error. The error i get is (dxgkrnl.sys).So i boot with safe mode, unistall drivers and boot normally.I did this several times installing both newst and older drivers but the problem remains. What can i do to make my card work properly?
I know that there might be a problem with the card itself.Has anyone ever fixed a vga that was FAULTY?

P.S One of my vga fans is not spinning correctly (just mentioning).
P.S using HWmonitor the temps on idle are about 30-35 C.

-corsair gs 800 psu
-8gb corsair vengeance

This product is specifically for video drivers from amd/nvidia. It goes through the registry, as well as removing video drivers out of all windows.
I trust it better. Run it in safe mode as well.

OK. When you booted back into Windows after removing the driver, did you get the blue screen right away, or does the crash happen only after you installed the drivers for the card?

OK. Lets try repairing directX drivers. Leave the Nvidia drivers installed as they shouldn't be the cause of your problem (considering you've wiped them).

This tool might help you fix directx: http://www.dlltool.com/help/fix-dll/extension-sys/dxgkrnl/

If this doesn't help there are a multitude of other things that could be causing the problem. Here is a forum with lots of things to try (excluding what you've done already):

I would try the directX fix tool first. Let me know if one of these helps.
