Hello Tomshardware esteem professionals

I am after help with a new pc gaming build,

-£3500 to 5500 budget

-Based in uk

-X670e or x870e ?

-I’d like 9800x3d and a 5090 when launched

-would like custom CPU cooling

Advice on all the other components would be greatly appreciate.

I only need the pc and don’t need any other items.
I can use my 3080 gpu until the 5090 comes out.
I have a oled 240hz monitor and want to play triple A titles maxed out
Thanks in advance!!

Need to see the reviews on the 5090 before deciding on a psu. Replace the 140mm exhaust fan that's included with this case with the 140mm ARGB fan down below for the full effect.

Thanks for your suggestions.. do you think I’d benefit from pcie gen 5 storage for faster load times ?
Also I would like to go for custom cpu cooling would this be possible https://www.scan.co.uk/products/the...fBZxP-dsOOtv4EVVnRdjjA3ZkKTIPSehoCuocQAvD_BwE

Is a stopwatch part of your daily attire? If yes, then maybe you'd benefit.

Do you have a strong desire to be on the cutting edge of technology for its own sake, regardless of practicality? If yes, then 5.0 will scratch that itch.

Could you live with yourself if you didn't buy 5.0? Why volunteer for buyer's remorse?

Are you quite insensitive to price? If yes, then "why not"?

Do you have some unmentioned reason to consider 5.0, other than gaming load times?

Not really I figured I’ve got the funds so I could future proof as far as possible I suppose, however if the benefits are minimal then I don’t want to waste money for the sake of it.

By the way thankyou for stopping by and adding advice
