Looking at getting a gaming/streaming setup. I got a quote to build

Ryzen 5 5600x
Cooler-Stock
Mobo- MSI B550M Pro-VDH Wifi
RAM- Kingston 16gb 3200 cl16 rgb
Storage- WD 500gb NVme ssd
GPU- RTX 3060ti
Case- Lian Li 011 Dynamic Mini AIR
PSU- EVGA 650W 80+ Gold
OS- Windows 10 Pro

Estimated at $1610 (includes shipping, and build fees)

Is this reasonable are there better options out there? If so could someone point me in that direction.

It's a nice build but if you can stretch on the motherboard, something like this would be better:
https://www.newegg.com/asus-tuf-gam...iption=B550&cm_re=B550-_-13-119-313-_-Product
or...
for the ram, you could try to find a 16gb kit rated at 3600mhz, like Patriot Viper Blackout, Viper RGB, or Kingston HyperX Fury RGB, 3 of them have CL17 timings which is pretty great for reducing the cpu latency, making it more faster.

If Ryzen 5 5600G priced better there, go with it for the almost same performance with 5600x but cheaper, better in memory latency, and pretty much monolithic (chip is all in one like intel), my friend's 5600G is pretty good, his even old 2666mhz ram could overclock to 3600mhz cl16 by me, stable tested :D

for alternative, you might want to check i5 12400F, using a B660 or B660M motherboard.

so for me, i would go for a 3600mhz ram @ cl17 or cl16 ones if you could find it priced slightly different (like the ones i listed). 5600G would be a great offer if it priced better than 5600X, yet better headroom on overclocking.

In terms of streaming, it's fine if your using the NVENC encoder on the GPU. For CPU streaming you would benefit from more than 6 cores.
