[SOLVED] Help With Overall Upgrade?

I was looking for some advice when it came to upgrading some components? I have a prebuilt and was wanting to do some upgrades, regardless of the price really. I have:
2018 BattleBox Syber case
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 1600
Motherboard: X470 Gaming Plus
RAM: 40 GB DDR4
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB
PowerSupply: EVGA 600w

I wanted to see if I have availability for another NVME drive since I think I have one 120gb NVME, one 1 TB Hard Drive, and one 2 TB SSD. I also wanted to see about getting a new strip of LED's for the RGB on the inside of the case, if anyone knows about replacements since mine ended up destroyed in a move?

If any other information is needed, I will present it as it is needed.
Frankly, it's like the title says. I would simply like to do an upgrade on just about everything I can, with a budget not being an issue. I was wondering if something like an NVIDIA RTX 3070-3090 card would be compatible with my current board and other components, or even something like an AMD RYZEN 9 5900-5950X

Could you explain exactly what it means to update BIOS? What would be the best way to upgrade the memory then?
To "Update BIOS" means to update it's version. It's done thru software, not by changing actual chip. See MB manual for the way to do it, it's actually pretty easy just have to follow steps in manual EXACTLY ! That has to be done prior to CPU change. so BIOS can be aware of new CPU.
As for memory, best way is to look at memory QVL list and get a single set of 2 or 4 sticks of 3466MHz.
Second best is also single set but not in QVL as QVL is far from definite number of all available RAM makes and models, (there are so many that MB manufacturer can't test them all). Practically any DDR4 3466MHz or faster should work, I...

40GB is 2x16GB and 2x8GB? On what speed is that RAM running?

Exact model of the PSU?

If the usecase is gaming upgrading the cpu to 5600X or 5800X is more than enough.
I believe I have 2 x 16gb running 1200 mhz and 2 x 4gb running 1333 mhz?

I'm sorry I don't know the exact specs perfectly but it is an EVGA 600w power supply. Tomorrow maybe I can look more into it.

For pure gaming 5600x and 5800x would perform almost same and yes they would both work fine but BIOS has to be updated to last version.
There are 2 M.2 slots so yes you can ad another SSD to it but second slot can't provide full NVMe speed because it's PCIe 2nd gen but would be still faster than a SATA SSD.
If you want and need larger NVMe drive for Windows and programs/games you should place it in M.2_1 slot and transfer your old one to second M.2.
Memory wise, you have enough but since those are mixed they are all most probably running at 1200(2400) MHz (the speed of slower ones) and Ryzen, specially 5000 series likes faster memory. Although 5000 series Ryzen can use 4000MHz and higher, MB limits it to 3466MHz.
PSU wise, CPU and RAM are not a problem, only if you plan for much higher level GPU might present a problem.

Download this..... PC Benchmark
Boot the machine and let it sit for 5 mins.
Run the benchmark and post a link to the results page.

I'm sorry but what exactly is the MB manual? Manufacturer _ _ _, or something else? Are you saying its better to get two 16gb 3466MHz to make 32gb, or four of 8gb 3466MHz to make 32gb? You're saying its better to have them matching instead of having a set of like two of 16gb 3466 MHz plus two of 4gb 3466 MHz?
Would something like Crucial Ballistix Elite DDR4 3600 C16 4x8GB, work best?
Pardon me but I'm also not familiar with you referring to this QVL list and how I would preform your second best option as indicated?

Bios and driver updates are not standard you need to read the manual.
Do you have a neighbor or friend that can help you?
It's really a good idea to get those updates before muckin around with hardware.
I can see a couple of things I'd change to give a bump in perf without get too expensive.
