Can someone help me. Just bought a new computer a HP Notebook - 15-ac158nr it has a Intel(R) Pentium(R) CPU N3700 @ 1.60GHz processor but it feels like the fan doesn't spit out any air on the side. I called HP they played around with it updated the bios again. It still feel like it overheats. I just bought another cooling pad to see if that helps. It does a bit. Speedfan doesn't recognize my fan but spits out readings

Core1:80C
Core 2: 81C
Core 3: 83C
It says the CPU usage is always 100%
Is this normal? Should I take the computer back. I still have 12 days to.

You should first take a look at your task manager and see what's causing that extreme CPU usage. If it's a third party application, you might have to consider cancelling it to get a normal CPU temperature.

Thanks, I think that did the trick. Some windows command program was running keeping the CPU usage always up. I had to check the HP site again to reinstall some package to fix it. Now my CPU core temps range from 43-52 which is normal I suppose for this processor. My only concern is from it being so high before, will it have done any damage to the unit? It ran that high for about 10 hrs on and off since Friday when I bought it. I called the store where I bought it and they said I can bring it back and replace it if I wanted to, its just the hassle of transferring everything again and wiping this one clean.

Yes, what Ecky said was right. You should be fine, so there's no need to replace your CPU with a new one. :)
