Hello community!

I really need your help, as this is my very first build, that requires focus and caution.

I need help to understand connecting a PSU to power 6 GPU's.
As you can guess -it's a mining rig. (Hope I don't get much hate.)

My setup is:
mbo: GA-H110-D3A rev 1.0
PSU: Corsair 1200i
GPU's : 6 RX470 4GB Sapphire Mining edition + 6 PCIe risers.
Win10

I easily know how to connect cables, yet, still I want to be cautious not to burn out my PSU or cards.

So, I know when idle, they will draw around 30W, and when idle, they can be power by the riser itself, if I understood that part.
But when mining, they will draw more, so I need the extra 8pin connector to the PSU.

Any help is appreciated.

Interested if anyone else has a similar build.

Update and close topic.

Did a little research.

I connected the Riser's via sata cables, it works just fine.
however, I noticed I have a riser that has a molex port on, so I'd recommend those types of riser for your mining rig.
