[SOLVED] Help with Prebuilt FPS

Hi there!

So I just got a pre-built and all the games I play seem choppy, this is worrying considering how much money I've spent on this machine.

So far all Windows and BIOS settings are default and no OC has been done.

My RIG is
RTX 3090
Ryzen 9 5950X
32GB RAM

Not sure what other information someone would need to help me out so just please ask if you need anything else! Thank you in advance

cpu/gpu temp and usage during the game? I'm not sure but the computer fans don't seem to be working hard as not much noise is produced.

I will update BIOS and re-install windows if you says so, then I will check the temperatures. Thanks!

I would say update the bios, check your temps (msi afterburner works good for that), and check your drivers, make sure they are up to date. (don't do it in device manager, go to nvidia's website)

Agree with others. CPU is underperforming and likely what is also causing the low gpu score.

You RAM is running at 2133mhz instead of 3000mhz. Go into the bios and switch on DOCP.

Hi,

I've switched on DOCP as well as "Asus Optimal" in the MOBO.

My user benchmark is still showing that I'm performing under potential for GPU and under expectations for CPU. Any other advice?

you cpu is now back to 4ghz.
undo the asus optimal

don't look at the useless expectation on userbenchmark.
look at the average bench

okay thank you, so the only way to squeezy out more performance is to OC the CPU and GPU?
