Hello, let me explain it really fast.. i bought a r9 280x xfx like 2 week ago .. when i was trying to play the gpu turn off . so i contact with the seller and send back the grapich card .. he told me was a problem with the bios, now i need to know before the r9 280x xfx arrived to me again ,my CX500W ( corsair) is enough to run it? in like default settings .. ?? with a cpu : q8400 ( default 2,66) , x2 4gb ddr3 1333 (total 8gb ram ), and a hdd sata?
or i need to reduce the clocks? like memory clock from 1500 to 1000 , and core clock to .. like 950? to make the grapich card run fine ? and everyting will be ok?
i know the website of xfx say ´´ i need a psu of 750w to run this grapich card´´ , but i know that¨s lie alot of ppl know that .. ,
i find this information please tell me if im wrong:
Watts consume of r9 280x xfx 230-260 wats full load
q8400 95w idle .. 130-140 full load
hd sata like 10-15 wats
ram like 2-4 wats
