Help with RAM overclocking.

Currently Im using HyperX Fury 2666mhz CL16 8X2gb kit. If possible I would like to OC my ram because I read somewhere that Ryzen benefits more from fast RAM(my processor is R5 2600). Im probably gunning for 3000mhz, is it feasible?

One normally doesn't buy memory that is rated for a specific speed and then try to run it at a much higher speed. Memory is guaranteed to work in the form sold, so what you propose has no guarantee to run at that speed.

So if I try to OC it there is no guarantee that it will work?
