Question Help with RAM Running Slowly

Hello All,

I've got two 16GB sticks of Crucial DDR4 3200Mhz installed in my Gigabyte Z390 Designare with a 9900K and I can't seem to get them to operate any faster than 2800Mhz.

Any suggestions on how I can get the memory to operate at 3200mhz? I already enable XMP.

I've tried doing exactly that. I enabled XMP and set the speed to 3200Mhz. It's stuck at 2800Mhz despite those settings.

Did u check the task manager see what it says (usually it's the most accurate reading)

use cpuz to see if you got the right ram?

is the more then 1 xmp memory profile?

There's only one profile available: "Profile-1"

OK, I figured out where to look in CPU-Z. The part numbers match what I ordered.

Looks like that was actually with XMP disabled. Here's what it looks like with XMP enables at 3200Mhz.
