Hey, so I bought a single stick of corsair vengeance ddr3 1600 Mhz CL10 RAM (worst mistake i've made) and i wanted to get another one for 16GB. THIS RAM GOT EXPENSIVE.

SO in an last effort option I found a new cheaper stick of ram. Crucial DDR3L -1600 MHz 8GB CL11

My questions are:

Is there a problem on having ddr3 and drr3l on the same system?

Is the different CL going to work?

ddr3 and ddr3l are different voltages . so i would say it's unlikely they wil work together but perhaps someone else will know for sure . i ll research it for you in case no one else responds . what is your motherboard make and model ?

I've looked it up and ddr3l should work at ddr3 voltages.

My motherboard is an Asus Sabertooth z87 Mk2
