Somehow, when I was trying to work on my desktop background, I cannot remember what I did, but there was a screen that said, if right-handed...blah, blah, blah; and if left-handed...blah, blah, blah, and the left-handed box was checked. Well, I did not read the entire screen as to what I was doing, but because I am right-handed and the left-handed box was checked, I unchecked the left-handed button and pressed the right-handed box. When I came out of this screen, somehow my desktop was sideways. I called my Internet provider and they could not help me except by telling me to try hitting control, alt and my arrows to turn the screen. This did not work because it came through some program. I am on disability for cervical nerve damage and cannot read a sideways screen and am having extreme difficulty trying to find what I did. Currently I am on my daughter's laptop to write this message because I am hoping someone can navigate me how to un-do what I did?

Did you hold down the Ctrl/Alt keys & tap the arrow key <-- ?
The Ctrl/Alt amd arrow keys normally corrects the problem. If not, you may have changed a setting in 3rd party software for your Graphics Interface.

Look for an ATI, nVidia or other icon related to your graphics card. Look at the box your graphics card came in if you cannot identify the icon. The box usually has the image somewhere in the design. If you do not identify the icon at all, look through your operator's manual for your graphics card to see what the tray icon looks like.

Right-click the graphics tray icon and click "Rotation Settings."

Turn the monitor's display around as you wish. Choose zero degrees as your angle if your monitor is upright.

Whoever you are, you are brilliant!!! I cannot thank you enough for giving me this advice, because it worked. You have no idea what I went through with my Internet Provider, 3 days, hours and hours on the phone and no one could figure this out for me. I mean no one. I want to thank you so much again... you were God sent for me.
