Hello , I'm not a miner neither I wanna be. I just want some help with moding a bit the default bios of my rx 570. Ok so the default bios is this https://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/192057/xfx-rx570-4096-170419

I want to mod the core clock frequency from default to my clocks/volts.

This is how my saved bios looks when I open it with polaris mod. Why do I have two set of memory timings ? Is it because I have a dual bios on my GPU? Also which one is which ? I assume elpida is the "gaming" vram bios and hynix_1 is the mining bios. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Basically I just want this to be my default clocks/undervolts , It's stable cause I've been running this for years so I know it's stable. I watched some tutorials how to mod your bios with polaris bios editor but all those tutorials were mining tutorials , I don't wanna brick my gpu doing something stupid and I also don't wanna mod my bios with a mining bios , I just want to modify the voltage like in the second picture, that's it. I also have a physical button on my gpu to switch from a mining bios to default "gaming" bios , in case I brick one of the bioses. Any help would be appreciated. TY

I've been needing to slightly bump my RX480 undervolt to maintain stability as time goes on.

Also, you may find that your settings may be stable in whatever programs/games you've tested so far, but there very well could be a program/game that exposes those same settings to be unstable. It's soooo much easier to deal with those differences inside AMD Adrenalin than vBIOS mods.
Why not just save the AMD Adrenalin profile you created (in case it gets reset to auto bc of a crash) and use what you've done there?

Same result, much less risky.

1285MHz/1000mV may be too low. I'd expect something more like 1285MHz/1025mV

Do a scatter plot of your frequency/voltage curve. It's all over the place.

More like:
588/820
952/890
1076/920
1143/945
1208/975
1250/1000
1285/1025

Yeah , after many hours of reading the forums I finally gave up , not worth the hassle just for a bit of undervolting. Thanks for the valuable info, I honestly didn't know that over time the silicon degrades and can mess up the stats of the card.
