Hello, i am trying to do my first ryzen build i pick this parts PCPartPicker part list, but i want know if it is good enought. I want overlock it, my first overclock, with stock cooler, i readed that i can do 3.8 or 3.9 with stock cooler.
i too readed that MSI - B350 TOMAHAWK have a problem on start up, so i was thinking on a Gigabyte motherboard B350, but i readed that some times it have OC, so i kept MSI motherboard.
Corsair - Vengeance LPX 16GB is good enought for that motherboard, what can you recommend me to change, thz

Solution
I find 1600X to be better value although it doesn't come with a cooler. Let me put it this way: You have to OC non-x model to get it to the level of X model and for that you need a better cooler than standard one that comes with it. To OC it you also need a half decent MB so the price gets equalized for both options.
The X model is obviously made better than non-x (they all came of same machine) so it's eventual OC potential is greater.
Right now they all have same problem, memory operation at full rated speed. You'd be better off getting 1600x, a good cooler and not have to worry about about OC. The X model already starts at almost same frequency as OCed non-x and boosts at higher frequencies than you can OC non-x.

Hello, thz for your answer, i did read that 1600 have better price/value, is that true, or should i go with 1600x.

Thz for your answers.

What do you think about PSU, RAM and video card?

^ i have a different opinion, i accept that 1600X can reach 4.1 and 1600 can do 3.9-4 in stock cooler. that 100-200 mhz is not worth almost the 80 bucks premium. a good overclocking mobo is a 80 bucks MSI gaming pro. flipside? 2 ram slots. AMD said they will support all rams by the end of may, so a team nighthawk or ripjaw 3000mhz 16gigs ram for 110 bucks sound abt right?

Hello, thz for all, i decided go with ryzen 1600x because my country is a little warm, and could have overheatting problem now i only need choice videocard and cpu cooler thz
