I installed the drivers for the sound blaster z (windows 7) and disabled my on board audio. the sound is not impressive at all. my on board audio sounds so much better. Something has to be wrong. Also, i am trying out a new headset, sennheiser G4me Zero which requires 150ohms to push it and it sounds better on my on board that has no amp then it does on the card. I have a Asus Rampage vi hero mother board. i'm running 1.2.32 driver it looks like on the soundblaster z

Can someone help please?

Your MB has a very good sound card already, above and beyond any normal onboard and it seems, according to your ears, better than the SB. Also, those headphones are 50ohm, not 150ohm. Amazaon is wrong, Sennheiser's spec sheet even says 50ohm. This has been covered on here before.
