Help with Software problem

Hi

i have this problem with my pc where i can't play league of legends, every time just before the loading screen of a game it give me an error saying: "The program can't start because d3dx9_39.dll is missing from your computer try reinstalling the program to fix this problem"

I've tried the following:

Installing DirextX = failed at installation cause a cabinet file nessary for installation cannot be trusted

Then i tried downloading the d3dx9_39.dll files and copying that into the SysWOW64 folder( one in the SysWOW64 folder and another one( 32bit file) in the System32 folder which also failed to word

I then downloaded DXSDK_jun10 didn't help either

i tried another method where i downloaded DirectX End-User Runtimes (June 2010) and it failed as well.

pretty clueless now

Setup: i72600k
6gigs of Ram 1333
120G SSD
Gtx 550 Ti
Win7( happened on win10 as well)

please help.

The game doesn't come with DirectX i think

Get Dx9 directly from microsoft,if it still tells you that it's untrusted you might have a malware that is messing with you or your anti virus/ anti malware software is really crappy and actually thinks that dx can't be trusted.

you sound like you need a clean install of windows 7.

Its not malware cause i have a freshly installed win7... the DirectX is installed but i still cant play. i have Dx11 btw

you could also try to run the game in Legacy Mode

it makes sense.. i ran dx9 on my old setup and i never ran into a problem like this before. The problem is Windows 7 is preinstalled with DirectX 11, you can’t uninstall it.

how do i run the game in legacy? is it under the compatability mode setting?

yes, the comparability mode, thank you. at least try that and see if it can work
