Help with system build

Hello, I am currently ready to build my new PC but my OS delivery has been delayed due to some reason. I was wondering weather i could build the systems and wait for the OS to arrives in like 2 days. My idea behind this was that if some components don't work ( They probable will work) i will have time to send them back.

Is it a good idea to build it and wait for the OS or wait until the OS turns up?

You can build right away, and even run your PC by using something like ubuntu or so.

yOU CAN JUST BUILD IT NOW SO ANY PROBLEMS CAN BE SOLVED BEFORE THE OS COMES, BY THE TIME IT DOES COME, YOU CAN JUST BOOT UP IMMEDIATELY
