Here are just my thoughts:

Your choice of motherboard, which has a Z97 chipset, assumes you will plan to overclock in the future. Your current CPU, which is a locked cpu at 3.1GHz, will not be able to take advantage of the overclocking support of the Z97, apart from having to select turbo frequency at 3.9GHz in BIOS. So, IMHO, it's either you get the Z97 now and get an unlocked CPU soon (such as the i7-4790k which, out of the box, has a 4GHz frequency, greater than the turbo-boosted i7-4770S, and can be overclocked up to 4.4GHz) - OR - use your existing i7-4770S and purchase an H97 motherboard (to save money). It's your call which to choose.

For the SSD, I think there were unresolved issues regarding read speed slowdowns of the 840 EVO's way back in January 2015. I am not updated if this issue has been resolved by Samsung. For what it's worth, maybe the newer Samsung 850 EVO or even the Samsung 850 PRO would be a better option, if the price is right.

For the video cards, I think you might be better off in buying the recently-released GTX 980 Ti (just my opinion). A single card would have less hassle in SLI'ing, lesser fan noise, more airflow in the case, and lesser power consumption. Look at the comparison between the GTX 980 Ti versus 2x GTX 970's in these benchmarks - the single GTX 980 Ti has only a bit (not drastic) less performance than the two GTX 970's. The main reason is that, if ever you REALLY WANT an SLI setup, you can buy another GTX 980 Ti in the far far future.

Hope my two cents would help.

With the cpu my plan was to upgrade to a overclockable one down the road and with the gpu Looking at the compassion I think I will go with the gtx 730 it and get a second on later.
Thanks

If you buy another over-clockable CPU to replace your original purchase you will not notice
much difference at all compared to what will be available at that time. Better to invest now
with a fast CPU, a giant like the 980 Ti and a good motherboard. Down the road, adding a
second 980 Ti will give as much bang for the buck as the new generation of video cards
leaving you extra time to save for a replacement system to go full 4K or 5K or whatever is
coming down the pike.
