help with this please first time installing memory into it

i7 5820k with GA-X99-UD3 it has only 2x 4gb ddr4 2133 generic memory trying to upgrade my memory to aegis 2x 8gb gskill ddr4 2133 but pc wont post or beep just auto restarts before it boots any ideas

Install only the 8GB sticks one at a time. Do not install any memory in the other three slots.
This procedure will help you to find out if one of the 8GB sticks are bad or not.

tried that and both sticks just makes it restart with out booting any ideas?

Try one 4GB + 8GB, if it does not work, then best is to return the sticks.

F4-2133C15D-16GIS is a good memory spec, should have worked without any issues.
