Hi everyone i'm about to start upgrading the big stuff in my current gaming/youtube pc since everything is coming up to 4 years old and I was just hoping to hear a few different opinions on my choices and maybe a few other options, especially with my Mobo choice i'm not 100% on which one i want yet.

Current stuff:
i7-3770k
Asus p8z77-v Deluxe
GTX 680 2gb
G.skill ripjaws 16g ddr3 1333

Future stuff:
i5 6600k
Asus z170 pro gaming
Gtx 980ti
Corsair vengeance LPX black 16gb ddr4 3200

Also going to look at getting a new PSU either going to get the Corsair RM 750i 80plus gold or the 850i but not 100% on which one would suit my needs so any input on that would be appreciated aswell. Or would i be able to use my current PSU which is a Thermaltake toughpower-xt 775w.

yes your mobo choice is excellent. I have the same CPU, mobo and video card. Go for the MSI gaming 6gb 980ti (although theres not much diff between evga, msi asus or gigabyte - avoid the reference nvidia cooler versions though they noisier) i wouldnt waste extra cash on that ram though. DDR4 crucial 2x 8gb sticks cheaper. speed makes f all difference. crucial more reliable than corsair. although both are good. avoid gskill like the plague.

you dont need to upgrade the PSU. i think toughpower is one of the decent thermaltake PSUs. (most thermaltake is rubbish) look at PSU tier list stickied at top of forum. Again, 750 is fine. You could even do 650 although giving the PSU more than ample for an easy life is good.

pro tip - a 27" or 32" samsung monitor (or benQ for the 32 , uses the same panel as the samsung) S27d850t or s32d850t
