[SOLVED] help with video card

Solution
1050 and 1050ti are terrible price to performance. Only benefits are form factor and low power consumption. An RX 470 or 570 would be a significant step up in a similar price point. Only thing with those are you'll need a decent PSU.

Nvidea: GTX 1050/1050TI/1060/1650
AMD: Radeon RX 470/480/570/580

The gtx 1050 or the rx 470 seem to be the best options. Going higher might not give you a lot more performance in a lot of games, since you will be bottlenecked by the CPU.

If you want to buy a new card, buy a 1650. If you want to buy a 2nd hand card (always try to buy from seller directly/try the card out in a system!) buy a rx 470 for like 70$.

Yeah I am wrong, the 1050 is not close in performance compared to the rx 470. But you still can consider it if you find a good deal somewhere.

In my experience they are throwing rx 470/480 at you in 2nd hand marketplaces, so a lot of supply and low cost.
