Question Help with win xp and intel g41 chipset

Please help me before a take an axe to my new machine.
I am running windows xp embedded on a lga775 motherboard /intel g41 with a core2 processor. After installation there are 4 hardware driver issues and after 2 days of downloads and trying to fix they remain. Two of them I can fix. But when win restarts it trys to update the hardware and I'm back at the beginning. HELP

which drivers are these and do you have problems without these drivers?

Thanks pal for taking the trouble to reply.
The ones I can fix are the vga driver and the pci drivers. The unfixable ones by me are the sn controller and the other one I have no idea as it is called unknown!!

Install chipset driver.

BTW - what is full model name of your motherboard? Find it with CPU-Z - motherboard section.

Sadly it is for a computerized wood saw that runs allen bradley controllers that can only run on xp.

The install disc supplied for the chipset drivers are the ones that are not working.

Bunch of errors and keeps asking for the .dll files which I have copied and installed. The after installing 6 files a pop up says it has encounter a problem.

On my about windows screen the product key only has 23 characters and not 25.

Service pack is an update, you install on top of windows xp.
Download from internet.
Installing service pack doesn't require input of a product key.
