Help with windows after new motherboard

I just upgraded my motherboard but don’t want to try anything else without making sure Windows (10 home) is working. I’ve been told I need to reinstall it but honestly don’t know what I’m doing. If anyone could help that’d be great

Make sure you have backed up all your data, and if you have secondary storage/game drives I would unplug the SATA cables so you don't accidentally wipe them.

From what motherboard to which motherboard? If they are same chipsets then you won't need reinstall, but if they are different chipsets then reinstall might be needed.
