Help with XFX R9 290x DD

Hello guys. So I just received my XFX R9 290x DD in the mail yesterday and when I put it in to my pc it's not responding or anything. The fans spin and the XFX lights up but no display comes up. I did notice a red light inside by the first fan (closest one to the back of the case) about 15 seconds after I power on my pc and then it goes away. I've switched PCI slots, have two separate power pins going to it but I still don't get anything. I have not seen BIOS or anything since I installed this last night and my moniters say "not connected" or "no signal"

Any suggestions?

I have not yet. Would that work though considering that this line was announced and released in 2013, but the latest BIOS update for my motherboard was in 2012?

This isn't the 2nd or 3rd generation Sabertooth. PCPartPicker said that it was compatible with the motherboard though
