Help ! wrong volume occur !

recently juz downloaded Battlefield 4 - reloaded .. i was installing , but when get to the disc 2 a error message pop out said " the wrong volume is in the drive please insert volume battlefield 4 into drive E"
can anyone help me with this ?? really want to ply this game !!

Are you mounting the programs onto a virtual drive or are you running the from a folder in your system?

Or did you burn the images to disks?

What were the names of the files you downloaded?

yes .. i am mounting the ISO file using daemon tool onto my secondary hard drive .. no idea why i would get the message eventhough i checked the drive , it is the correct drive ?
the files that i downloaded are :
DVD1 - rld-bf4a.iso
DVD2 - rld-bf4b.iso
DVD3 - rld-bfc.iso
reloaded.nfo
would appreciate your help on that !

Well, what I would do is, un-mount all virtual drives and the set the number of virtual drives to just one, if you can.

Then browse to your .iso file for Disk 1 and right-click on it.

You should see an option that lets you mount the image to a virtual drive.

Mount the image and box should pop up.

Pick 'Open folder to view files', find the setup program, right-click on it and 'Run as administrator'.

When it is time to insert disk 2, browse to the correct .iso image and mount it onto the same drive as the first one was.

You may even have to un-mount it first.

The installer should do the rest.

If you need to change disk again, do the same thing, mount the new disk on the same virtual drive as the old one is on.

there is no setup program in it .. all is rar files .. so what i do is extract them all is it ??

How did you get it start the installation in the first place?

Did you read the .nfo file?

It might contain instructions. Open it by right-clicking on it, choose 'Open with' from the menu and use 'Notepad' to open it.

Is there any useful i(nfo) there?

either using the daemon tool to start the installation or i get into the .iso file and extract the .rar files ..
did both but still the same problem ! wondering what the problem is .. lol
nth useful info there and inside .nfo file juz some language that i never will understand ..

If I understand you correctly, you are able to mount DVD 1 and the installation proceeds and then asks for DVD 2...

... are you then mounting DVD 2 onto the same virtual drive as you have DVD 1 on?

100 % yes ...
but as result pop out the wrong volume message tried several times .. same result .. feel hopeless .. did google about this problem , no solution helps

And just to confirm, your E: drive is a virtual drive, isn't it, and not your DVD ROM drive?

Suppose that after you mount Disk 2 and get the 'wrong volume' error, you re-mount Disk 1 - what happens then?

Does it re-ask for the next disk? Did you try mounting it on drive F: when prompted for Disk 2?

I suppose you've tried un-mounting the E: drive before trying to mount Disk 2?

Did you try mounting Disk 3 instead of disk 2? They may have been incorrectly labelled.

Out of interest, where did you download the game from? And did you get any instructions at all?

HI i have also found the solution as below
1. Create two virtual drive. for example G, H.
2. Mount 1 disk(rld-bf4a) in one drive like G drive and start installation
3. When asked for the 2 disk mount 2 disk(rld-bf4b) in H drive and give path through browse like in this case H:\game\gamesfiles.part18 and click ok.
4. When asked for 3 disk(rld-bf4c) again mount in the H drive and clik ok as you dont have to change path now
5. Remember dont unmount 1 disk from drive.

I hope this will help you to.
