hi anybody know what cpt controll means in the bios cos mine is rising to 80 then shutting down but the system temp is at 25?

You mean CPU control or CPU fan control. IDK about the first but the second works like this:
If disabled, fan always runs at max speed.
If enabled, system manages the fan speed for the cpu temp
