[SOLVED] Help!

Hi everyone - total Numpty here when it comes to hardware on PCs, so am hoping for any help offered!

I have a Lenovo ideacentre 310S desktop which, from what it says in the device manager, has an AMD Radeon R5 graphics card installed in it.

I'm not gaming, so I don't need insane capacity from the card but just using the PC for Teams meetings seems to be nigh on impossible when it comes to operating that and trying to screen share, as everything grinds to a virtual stop.

I've been recommended to change the graphics card but I can't even find the spec for what's in there already. It simply says AMD Radeon (TM) R5, which seems to have so many variants out there, I don't know what to believe!

Does anyone have a good idea if the problem I have is Graphics Card related and if so, what to replace the current one with? BTW, I don't want to skimp on any replacement but just bought a new car so am not particularly flush right now, so anything up to £100 GBP would be nice, if that's even possible!

Cheers, in hope :)

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

If this is your prebuilt;
https://www.lenovo.com/us/en/desktops-and-all-in-ones/ideacentre/300-series/310s-AMD/p/99IC9S30262
then the issue is the dual core processor on the platform. Sadly due to the form factor, the small size of the PSU(and it's wattage) and the current situation with inflated GPU prices, I doubt you're going to find a GPU that can drop in there. Just for the sake of relevance, you could try using CPU-Z and GPU-Z to narrow down which R5 GPU you've got on the prebuilt.

well by looking up your pc it does indeed have Integrated AMD Radeon™ R5 Graphics, which aren't too bad and whichever version you have (low/higher end) should easily run team meetings of all things
first thing you should try to update the drivers for the integrated card if possible
secondly - try running something intensive for your pc (perhaps even a teams call again) with the task manager open on the side, notice what part of your pc is being used to the max (cpu,ram,gpu?)
