Hi i've been using this computer for 4 years now, it was my dad's old, i recently made upgrades to it and i need help!

So my current PC is;

Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-3240 CPU @ 3.40GHz 3.40 GHz
2x2 / 4GB Ram
No GPU
GIGABYTE B75M-S
1366x766 Monitor

It was dual quad core, i made it a i3 recently, and added another 2gb ram card, but i regret doing that, and i need help upgrading my pc,

I was thinking removing both ram and getting a single 8gb ram card or a i7-3770, i don't know what to get first, and i can't afford both, i also want to upgrade my motherboard since it doesn't support over 3rd gen processors, i need help on what i should upgrade first!

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

You forgot to mention the make and model of your PSU and it's age. Please add that bit of info. What BIOS version are you currently on for your motherboard? It's best iof you could list your specs like so:
CPU:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU: you've stated no discrete
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:

Include the make and model of the sticks of rams used on the build. You're advised to have a dual channel setup to get the best out of the platform. As for your system, if all you have is an HDD, you should get an SSD, for sure.

Where are you located and what is your budget for said upgrades? You know what, you should follow the stylizing of this thread to help us understand what your upgrade will be for and how we can maximize your investment.
