hercules 3d Prophet III tv problem...

whenever I start the computer with both my monitor (analog crt) and the tv plugged in, win2k does not recognize the tv as new hardware. furthermore, If i post directly to the tv, without the monitor plugged in when I start the computer, the tv shows the bios screen, shows the win2k loading screen, but then goes noisy and I can't get anything out of it and in fact have to reboot the computer by hitting the power button. I have tried this at every resolution, color amount, and refresh rate... I don't know what to do.

have you the hercules 3d Prophet III win2k latest drivers ?

did you tried to force win2k to recognize new hardwares with the "add new hardware" tool ? (PnP don't works fine with win2K)

if you know you don't know, the way could be more easy.
