I don't buy keyboards with this style of keycap mainly due to wear. I have hard finger nails that even though they are neatly trimmed wear out the coated etched keycaps within a year. That $100 keyboard then looks a mess.

I don't get the texture, that would drive me crazy. Much rather have some nice double shot keycaps.
