I have been very impressed with Accubyte and have no made quite a few purchases from them. Fast service, no hassel and willing to correct a mistake. I ordered a GeForce 2 V7700 Deluxe from them. I paid next day air (probably stupid on my part) and the package shipped 2 days later from a lack of stock which they did not anticipate at the time of order. They refunded my next day shipping charges and sent the package out 1 day saturday delivery. My repeat business was more important to them than loosing a 20 or so dollars. It was a refreshing experience after some of the crap I have put up with online. I recommend buying from them.

Well looks like you were lucky. Whether it was in your shopping experience or your employment interview is not clear.

Accubyte has many reviews (117) with one of the lowest ratings (2.7/7.0) at www.resellerratings.com. Don't buy anything from these clowns.

I have had problems with Accubyte, and recommend steering clear of them. I tried to order an Athlon 900 MHz Thunderbird from them, and they said that they had it in stock. I paid for overnight shipping, and one week later I still didn't have my processor. I called them and they said "we're sorry, we don't have that item in stock." So, needless to say, I cancelled my order.

that's funny [-peep-]!! it seems like it's people from the company sent to try to get themselves back a good name. people at toms are smarter then that.
though i don't know how reselleratings. set the system up. can anyone come in and just rate companies? do they check these people out or can the company just have one guy come in and sit all day giving great comments and score and the sort? how can u be sure it's legit?

resellerratings is still a valuable tool for me. However...one problem is once you rate a company, you are stuck with it. For example...I used bunta several times way back when and had great experiences, then they seemed to torpedo. Their shipping charges went up a bit and I had a miserable time with some defective drives. I usually wait till after 4 or 5 purchases to rate a company so had given them great ratings, now, however I don't feel they deserve the good rankings...but tough. If a company starts out wonderfully...doing great business, doing everything right...then they change....the only thing you will see is the good ratings...the bad ratings take awhile to filter through....I'm now embarrassed I ever recommended them.

Anybody can post comments/rate a company...you just have to "register" first but that doesn't really mean much. Sometimes you can tell when it is the company tooting their own horn but sometimes you can't...hard to tell....but at least the site does help some.
