Why not just keep stock fan curve (which should target ~75C)?

EVGA's fan stop implementation is awful. They have it set to immediately turn on and off at a threshold temperature around 55C.

If you're doing anything causing the card to sit around that temp the fans will just go on and off continually.

I also just personally prefer setting my own fan curves especially when doing overclocking like I intend to. With my current curve the temperatures stay around 70c under high loads.

I don't understand why your Afterburner fan curve looks like a staircase? I have been using it for years and mine is always a straight line between the little squares that you can drag around.

Because I made mine a staircase. I don't like curves cause it can cause the fans to change speeds consistently. I like to keep my fans at one speed for specific temperatures.
