camieabz Splendid Jan 29, 2001 8,712 4 31,815 Mar 21, 2002 #2 Whooops! Its not a P200 its a CPU with PR200 against it. Cyrix (Aarrgghh!) MII 166MHz 6x86MX I have jumper settings: 1.5/3.5 2.0 2.5 3.0 and: 55MHz 60MHz 66MHz 75MHz/S 75MHz/A I see two socket 7 CPU's on sale. MII 333MHz (83 FSB) P233MMX (66 FSB) The customer really just wants to get the CPU faster. [sigh] Suggestions? (Without suggesting a new mobo). <b><font color=blue>~ Whew! Crashman Polypheme Former Staff Dec 31, 2007 48,594 92 66,190 Mar 22, 2002 #11 Probably, but it may not actually be FASTER, as it may simply ignore the on-die L2 cache. What's the frequency, Kenneth?
