Look at the picture, count the sides on the phone: it's an eight-sided figure, not a hexagon. Had Linshof decided to add only two edges at top or bottom, it would have been a hexagon in the mathematical sense (6 sides). However, the most common connotation for the term is a regular hexagon, which has six equal sides all separated by angles of 120 degrees. Ditto for octagon (think: Stop sign).
HTH, and a cool-looking phone.

Cut off corners = less chance of being sued by Apple for copying the Apple-rectangle(tm). That said, I'm sure Apple or samsung or any of the other large makers can find something in it to sue over. Maybe it will be Microsoft going after the 'looks like windows phone'.

I would totally get one if there was a Google Play Edition. I really don't like third-party UIs because I don't think people should have to re-learn Android if they switch brands.

I've rooted phones in the past, but I've decided it's easier to just buy a Nexus or Google Play Edition phone.

'Selfie' camera. :ugh: better were the days when we said front camera...
Looks decent I guess, better than Samsung selling you the same crap with different specifications.

I'm wondering if that is the same 'merely suggest' that the mafia use when encouraging shopkeepers to pay insurance?

Sorry to burst your bubble, but read this up:

They don't appear too legit so far. Only time will tell, but the beginning is NOT promising. Besides a nicely photo shopped collection of pics, nothing there to substantiate this device.

The 80GB storage is provided by two memory modules designed by SanDisk including a 64GB and a second 16GB for applications that the manufacturer defines faster. We can say that the design change from the iphone 6 nexus 6 and galaxy note 3

looks like they went bust :(
from their website:
"Linshof is closed.

We understood that it would be a difficult project and we are grateful for having the opportunity to work on it.
Unfortunately, our investors decided to close the project due to their own internal reasons.

Thank you all for your wonderful support."

Aaand... that confirms my suspicions. Vaporware.
