Hey everyone I was just looking for some feedback on my first build that I am putting together. I need to stay around $800 for the computer and will be playing some big games such as DayZ, Battlefield 4, Arma 3, Arma 2, Thief, etc. I would like to run these kind of games at about 60 fps on High or Medium settings without a hitch, I understand that there are bugs in a few of these games such as DayZ. Thanks! http://pcpartpicker.com/user/snake90890/saved/PHyZxr

OCing is always just getting free performance, so having a SLI setup wouldn't change that up. Following the rule that a...
Good build. PSU is overkill. You don't need 750W. Even a good 450W PSU would do fine.

Looking at the motherboard, do you want to eventually upgrade to an overclockable CPU? If not, then I can make some better motherboard recommendations that could save you $$. Between the motherboard savings and PSU savings, possibly could get you up to a GTX 970 in your budget.

Very solid build, especially for a new guy! Welcome to the PC Master Race 😛. As said previously, there is such a performance gap between the GTX 960 and GTX 970 that you'd be way better getting the latter, or finding an AMD alternative.

I don't know if I will ever be overclocking but I do want to eventually hook up two graphics cards together for the SLI Graphics! So I may need some extra power there but I don't know if you would need to overclock with the SLI option?

Ok - so based on that, you want the Z97 board and 750W PSU. Good build.

OCing is always just getting free performance, so having a SLI setup wouldn't change that up. Following the rule that a single card is generally always better than 2 lower tier ones, I'd get a 970, as suggest above. Maybe save just a little bit more (cutting that PSU to a 500-550W one for example).

How about this http://pcpartpicker.com/user/snake90890/saved/cGQMnQ it raises the price to about $900 but that is ok with me I probably won't be buying this till June or July so hopefully some of the prices will lower at least a little bit.

Now we're talking! Very nice build! It puts it on pair with mine in terms of raw FPS performance in games, so you're looking at 60FPS Ultra on almost every game out there. You surely won't be dissapointed!
Cheers 😀.

Thanks everyone it has been a real help!!
