Hey so i just ugraded my prebuild gaming pc with a new gtx 1070 and a new power supply of 650 watt where before i was using a gtx 1050 ti and a 450 watts. but now my screen takes a pretty long time to respond after going to sleep about a a minute or two longer than it use to be, Does this mean i should update my bios ?

Solution

Dont let it sleep , run everything on maximum performance and switch of all screen saving time outs.
the 1070 should be set to maximum performance in the nvidia settings to stop it going into an idle power state.
the 1050ti is far less power hungry and as such would react a lot quicker.
i personally dont think big arse graphics cards are designed to go into sleep mode.
they need to be on full saiyan rage...

they need to be on full saiyan rage constantly.
