1) I would not recommend liquid cooling unless you're looking to spend more than $150 on a cooler. Inexpensive AiO liquid coolers are outperformed by much cheaper air coolers.

2) I would not spend a ton of money on cooling for an FX-8350, because it's outperformed by ~$110 Intel CPUs. I don't think it's wise to dump a lot of money into such an old platform.

Ok you first heard from a intel guy
I run three Amd systems all with Corsair water cooling and overclocked.
They are the h55, h80i, and the h110i all set up as exhausting.
Find out what your case can handle then go from there as to radiator / fan specs.
The i in the 2 above coolers stand for the corsair link software.
Fan and pump speeds can be changed from that software on the fly.
As far as cost for those a h55 can be approx $70 us, the h80i approx $80-95 us, h110i -$99 -135us.
My temps stay cool and under Aod stress testing temps stay 44-48c.
Keep an eye on Newegg or if you live here in the us check Microcenter.
Microcenter will price match, but Newegg may not charge tax depending where you live.

As a solely AMD user with watercooling: It is was horrible choice.
No reason to invest that much money into zero performance gain and next to no increased OC headroom over air.

You can say what your opions is but we all have 1.
My case's don't have big bulky coolers sticking out over the cpu's.
I have 2 fx 6300's running at 4.2g @ 44-48c
On a 100% cpu stress test with thermal margins @ 30c plus.
My fx 6350 is at 4.6g and has better temps then the other 2.
So how did i not gain for spending $240 for 3 coolers with those kind of temps for 24/7 oc's

I can see how you can put a dollar value on making your case more accessible. However, I look at it from this perspective: When you bought those three FX 6300's + watercoolers, depending on what year you bought them (I'm going to assume 2012) for the same money you could have purchased three Core i7's. Under their stock coolers, the i7's would have stayed at a safe temperature at stock clocks. The stock coolers are not bulky. The i7's would also have been close to twice as fast as your 6300's. So, strictly from a value perspective, you didn't do too well.

All 3 systems have been built in the last year and half.
Ok the intels beat mine in several areas but for what i have spent i am happy for what they do for me and the price cost Less.
Intel vs Amd will go on for years just like Usa politics so lets agree to disagree.
